What You'll Learn:

  • Evaluate alternative interpretations of complex issues by reviewing their strengths and weaknesses, applying the stages of critical thinking development to ensure structured and logical conclusions.

  • Formulate probing questions to clarify subject matter and identify inconsistencies in
    reasoning, using critical thinking processes to enhance objective analysis and decision-making.

  • Assess ideas from multiple stakeholder perspectives, reviewing their relevance and importance while applying strategies to reduce egocentric thoughts to develop stakeholder-aligned solutions.

  • Select and apply appropriate research methodologies to gather and analyse information for credibility, using logical connections between ideas and understanding the roles of egocentrism and sociocentrism to address complex problems effectively.

Eligibility Criteria for SMEs

SMEs must meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered or incorporated in Singapore.

  • Have an employment size of no more than 200 employees OR an annual sales turnover not exceeding $100 million.

Eligibility for SME-Sponsored Trainees

  • Must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs).

  • Course fees must be fully sponsored by the employer.

 ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years and above

  • Minimum 1 GCE ‘O’ level credit

  • Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level (WPLN) Level 4
