What You'll Learn:

  • Apply Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement tools to identify process inefficiencies, reduce waste, optimise operating costs, and improve overall organisational performance using techniques such as process mapping and root cause analysis.

  • Evaluate and validate improvement initiatives by measuring results against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and using internal and external benchmarking to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for further productivity and service enhancements.

  • Implement corrective actions and process improvements by communicating changes effectively, resolving operational issues, and ensuring improvements are aligned with organisational policies, structures, and workplace culture.

  • Monitor and sustain continuous improvement outcomes by tracking cost savings, productivity gains, and service improvements, while using data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies to support long-term organisational success.

Eligibility Criteria for SMEs

SMEs must meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered or incorporated in Singapore.

  • Have an employment size of no more than 200 employees OR an annual sales turnover not exceeding $100 million.

Eligibility for SME-Sponsored Trainees

  • Must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs).

  • Course fees must be fully sponsored by the employer.

 ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years and above

  • Minimum 1 GCE ‘O’ level credit

  • Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level (WPLN) Level 4

  • Able to perform basic Microsoft Office functions on the computer
