    Course Information

    Learning objectives: to enable candidates to develop a range of skills and techniques for successful performance in employment as a Manicurist for the purpose of caring for and enhancing nails.

    Syllabus include:

    • Nail diseases and disorders and contraindications to manicure and pedicure
    • Sanitisation and hygiene
    • Tools and products
    • Specialised nail treatments
    • Nail shape
    • Filing procedure
    • Manicure procedure
    • Pedicure procedure
    • Massage movements for hand, lower arm, foot and lower leg
    • The skeletal system
    • The circulatory system
    • The lymphatic system
    • Structure of the nail
    • The muscular system
    • Structure of the skin

    Accreditation: ITEC Certificate in Manicure & Pedicure

    Course Commencement


    Entry requirements & Course Fee

    i. Minimum age: 16 years old

    ii. Academic/Vocational level: Five credits at GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent. Exemption may be made for candidates with minimum three credits at GCE ‘N’ Level and 1 year work experience in any field.
    iii. Language proficiency: Pass in English or Mandarin at PSLE or equivalent

    Duration: 2 months (subject to adjustment as per individual students’ requirements)

    Course Fee: $850 (inclusive of full training kit worth $450)
