Hair Styling
Semi-Up Styles - Romantic - Fashion - Classic

This course is a compilation of about 40 different styles generally intended for brides and make-over. All styles are taught and interpreted to be carried out based on one's personal taste/way. This course will provide you with the reference materials to re-create hundreds of different styles (for all occasions) and not purely specific methods of styling

Be assured that styles taught are always among the most modern and in good taste. With this in mind students can be prepared for styles that overflow with eccentricity and originality.

  Threading

It's an ancient method which Chinese and especially Indian women used to get rid of unwanted facial hair. The process is simplicity itself no equipment or hot wax. Just a long piece of thread and dextrous fingers.

Threading is less painful than waxing. It has more advantages there's no fear of being burnt by hot wax and you're not left with a red, smarting patch.

Old fashioned threading does a better job when it comes to removing facial hair.

Peter Angel Wanneck makes it look simple but threading facial hair takes skill; On the left are the tools of the trade: thread and powder.

Eyelash Extension

Eyelash extensions add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. Synthetic single fiber polyester thread-like materials are applied to individual eyelashes to create a fuller, longer look. The adhesive used is surgical-grade. Extensions come in various lengths, colors and thicknesses, and can be worn during sleep, showering and swimming. Eyelash extensions differ from false eyelashes in that they are applied one extension to one lash. The application technique involves attaching a synthetic eyelash extension to an individual eyelash on the client.

Classroom demonstrations followed by hands-on practice sessions, working in pairs. All students have to go through an examination after completing the training. A Student Portfolio is to be completed at the end of the course. Compilation of thesis is also required to be completed and submitted prior to examination. All courses are taught concurrently and only the makeup syllabus is examined. The examination consists of the following:

• Natural or sophisticated make-up practical exam (30 minutes)
• Stage or Photography make-up practical exam (45 minutes)
• Theory Paper 50 questions (60 minutes)

Grading of the qualification
i. The Practical Exam has to achieve at least a pass grade of 50%.
ii. The Theory Paper has to achieve at least a pass grade of 50%.
iii. The Thesis must also achieve at least a pass grade of 50%
iv. The Theory and Thesis grades will be combined with the Practical grade to achieve an overall     three grade that students may achieve:
                                Pass Grade – 60% to 74%
                                Credit Grade – 75% to 84%
