About Us
The School Of Make-Up was founded by Peter Angel Wanneck and Sally Yeo in 1999. Both Peter Angel and Sally are accomplished make-up artists and fashion/beauty experts by dedication.

Both have extensive knowledge in their respective fields which has led to the conception of The School Of Make-up and its nail training arm, Couture Nail School, providing the highest level of training in make-up and nail courses to students interested in make-up and nail technology.

In January 2010 the school was incorporated as The School Of Make-up Pte Ltd.

We are confident that you will find our institution of acceptable standard. We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality in student training and we look forward to having you with us.

Our Mission
To produce professionally trained and knowledge-equipped make-up artists and nail technicians who possess the skills and self-confidence to participate successfully in the high echelons of the beauty industry.

Our Vision
To be amongst the best make-up and nail training institutes in Asia, to positively influence the quality of beauty services available in the market place today, and to passionately inculcate creativity, dedication and professionalism in the art of makeup and nails. We envisage changing behavioural attitudes in the Asian female to the effect of radiating beauty as part of a daily routine.

Values and Culture
The School Of Make-up endeavors to achieve its mission and vision by instilling management team developed organisational values in their staff. These values reflect organisational norms and guidelines which will be articulated and expressed by staff in their daily words and actions.

The ensuing culture which is the summation of our practised organizational values based on appreciation and understanding will form the foundation for our working environment in order to provide outstanding instructive training services for our students.

Academic Board

The Academic Board is to look into the academic quality and rigour of the school. Its responsibilities include:

. developing the policies and procedures to ensure that the content and duration of the modules or syllabus, as well as the entry and graduation requirements of the course are appropriate
. developing policies and procedures to ensure that the approval of deployment of teachers are based on the requirements stipulated by the Council for Private Education
. facilitating the school to implement and comply with the policies and procedures developed
. reviewing, at least once a year, the academic policies and procedures

Examination Board
The Examination Board will be in charge of the development of examination and assessment procedures, such as developing and facilitating the implementation of procedures to:

. ensure the security of examination scripts
. ensure the security of answer scripts
. ensure the proper conduct of examinations and assessments
. define the duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers
. ensure the proper discharge of duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers
. conduct moderation of examination and assessment marks
. handle appeals from students on examination and assessment matters
